Rhinolophus contrarius
Taxonomy
Rhinolophus contrarius was named by Mein and Pickford (2003). Its type specimen is AD 272'96, a mandible (left mandible with p2-p4 and incisor and canine alveoli), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arrisdrift, which is in a Miocene channel sandstone in Namibia.
