Prismatoolithus ilekensis
Taxonomy
Prismatoolithus ilekensis was named by Skutschas et al. (2017). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is LMCCE 4/6, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shestakovo-3, which is in a Barremian/Aptian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/siltstone in the Ilek Formation of the Russian Federation.
