Taxonomy
Terraia decarinata was named by Guerrini et al. (2020). Its type specimen is DZP-20127, a valve (left valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Outcrop 1, Tijuco Preto, Prudentópolis, which is in a Capitanian/Wuchiapingian lacustrine - large siliciclastic in the Rio do Rasto Formation of Brazil.
