Allophalerus maximus
Taxonomy
Tetraphalerus maximus was named by Ponomarenko (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 2452/189, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Galkino (PIN collection 2452), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Allophalerus maximus by Kirejtshuk (2020).
