Afrotaldycupes lidgettoniensis

Taxonomy
Taldycupes lidgettoniensis was named by Ponomarenko (2005). Its type specimen is NMSA 2505, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lidgetton (Lid 111), which is in a Changhsingian delta plain shale in the Estcourt Formation of South Africa.

It was recombined as Afrotaldycupes lidgettoniensis by Kirejtshuk (2020).
