Abdarainurus barsboldi
Taxonomy
Abdarainurus barsboldi was named by Averianov and Lopatin (2020). Its type specimen is PIN 5669/1, a set of vertebrae (Caudal vertebrae and chevrons), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Abdrant Nuru [SMPE], which is in a Santonian/Campanian fluvial sandstone in the Alagteeg Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Abdarainurus.
