Taxonomy
Trigonia fitchi was named by Packard (1921). Its type specimen is Condon Museum type number 7 and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Litschkovitrigonia fitchi by Saul (1978), Haggart et al. (2005); it was recombined as Louella fitchi by Cooper and Leanza (2017).
