Nicomedites lenticularis
Taxonomy
Kocaelia lenticularis was named by Shevyrev (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 1477/566 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mertvaya Balka, Phyllocladiscites-Nicomedites beds, which is in a Bithynian marine carbonate in the Acheshbok Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Nicomedites lenticularis by Balini and Marchesi (2018).
