Taxonomy
Leptopharsa colombiana was named by Golub and Heiss (2018). It is extant. Its type specimen is CEHI COL-TING-01, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Colombian copal (Heiss coll), which is in a Holocene terrestrial amber in Colombia.
