Ovalofemora abbottae

Taxonomy
Ovalofemora abbottae was named by Jepson et al. (2018). Its type specimen is PIN 2239/1727, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2239), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Ovalofemora.
