Nesoenas rodericana
Taxonomy
Columba rodericana was named by Milne-Edwards (1874). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Plaine Corail, Rodrigues (Jenner collection), which is in a Holocene cave siltstone in Mauritius.
It was recombined as Homopelia rodericana by Lambrecht (1933); it was recombined as Nesoenas rodericana by Hume (2011).
