Taxonomy
Eubrianax vandeli was named by Bertrand and Laurentiaux (1963). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chateau de Ferrals, Villespy, which is in a Lutetian lacustrine limestone in the Calcaires de Ventenac Formation of France.
