Kinesuchus overoi
Taxonomy
Kinesuchus overoi was named by Filippi et al. (2018). Its type specimen is MAU-Pv-CO-583, a mandible (Incomplete mandibles), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro Overo [MAU], which is in a Santonian levee siltstone/mudstone in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Kinesuchus.
