Taxonomy
Paralepinotus fushunensis was named by Azar et al. (2018). Its type specimen is NIGP 167954, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Xilutian coal mine, Fushun amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in China. It is the type species of Paralepinotus.
