Archocyrtus kovalevi
Taxonomy
Juracyrtus kovalevi was named by Nartshuk (1996). Its type specimen is PIN 2239/2179, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2239), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Archocyrtus kovalevi by Gillung and Winterton (2017), Gillung and Winterton (2019), Khramov and Lukashevich (2019).
