Pietschellus aenigmaticus
Taxonomy
Pietschellus aenigmaticus was named by Bannikov and Carnevale (2011). Its type specimen is MCSNV I.G. VR. 66741, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte Postale, Monte Bolca (Museo di Storia Naturale di Verona collection), which is in a Ypresian carbonate limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Pietschellus.
