Meniscodon picteti
Taxonomy
Meniscodon picteti was named by Rutimeyer (1891). Its type specimen is NMB EG 513, a tooth (M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Egerkingen, Huppersand fissure, which is in a Bartonian fissure fill horizon in Switzerland. It is the type species of Meniscodon.
