Cimomia mokattamensis
Taxonomy
Nautilus mokattamensis was named by Foord (1891). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mokattam escarpment, which is in a Lutetian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Mokattam Formation of Egypt.
It was recombined as Cimomia mokattamensis by Kummel (1956).
