Taxonomy
Hugueneysaurus globidens was named by Augé (2005). Its type specimen is FSL 369466 (right dentary) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coderet (MP 30), which is in a MP 30 terrestrial horizon in France. It is the type species of Hugueneysaurus.
