Taxonomy
Pseudoschloenbachia (Pseudoschloenbachia) grossouvrei was named by Kennedy (1995). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R52604, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Road from Sougraigne to Les Croutets (banc à Lima marticensis), which is in a Santonian carbonate limestone in France.
