Taxonomy
Nostoceras draconis was named by Stephenson (1941) [DISTRIBUTION: Campanian; Western Interior.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Nostoceras (Nostoceras) draconis by Kennedy and Cobban (1993) and Kennedy and Cobban (1994); it was recombined as Didymoceras draconis by Kennedy et al. (2000).
