Eudolops tetragonus

Taxonomy
Eudolops tetragonus was named by Ameghino (1897). Its type specimen is MACN 10358, a tooth (isolated right M1 missing posterolabial corner), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Eudolops.
