Araripebelostomum martinsnetoi
Taxonomy
Araripebelostomum martinsnetoi was named by Nel and Paicheler (1992). Its type specimen is MNHN IPM-R.54375, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (MNHN collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Araripebelostomum.
