Stygeonepa foersteri
Taxonomy
Stygeonepa foersteri was named by Popov (1971). Its type specimen is PIN 1952/183, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Solnhofen (PIN collection 1952), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Stygeonepa.
