Taxonomy
Mimosphinctes tenuicostatus was named by Bogoslovsky (1963). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zabolotnaya River, above Shvetsovskogo valley, which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
