Appertia besairiei

Taxonomy
Appertia besairiei was named by Paulian (1965). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.A28839, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Right margin of Mavonono river, which is in an Artinskian terrestrial siliciclastic in Madagascar. It is the type species of Appertia.
