Archeoviparosiphum tuanwangense
Taxonomy
Mesoviparosiphum tuanwangense was named by Zhang et al. (1989). Its type specimen is Shandong Provincial Museum L84121, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Tuanwang, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Museum coll.), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Oviparosiphum malacum by Hong (1998); it was recombined as Oviparosiphum tuanwangense by Heie and Wegierek (2011), Favret (2012); it was recombined as Archeoviparosiphum tuanwangense by Żyła et al. (2015).
