Acteonina hanseni

Taxonomy
Acteonina hanseni was named by Hoare (2004) [= Bulimorpha canaliculata Morse, 1911, p. 400, Fig. 25]. Its type specimen is OSU 12207, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Exposure in railroad cut along Jonathan Creek, which is in a Chesterian/Brigantian carbonate limestone/shale in the Maxville Limestone Formation of Ohio.

Small, cylindrical shell of 5 to 6 whorls; protoconch smooth, depressed; ultimate whorl three times length of spire, tapering convexly to base; whorls gradate, sharply shouldered with flat to slightly inclined ramps; surface smooth; apical angle of 80 degrees.
