It was recombined as Paraharpes ottawaensis by Owens (1970); it was recombined as Dolichoharpes ottawaensis by Sloan and DesAutels (1987); it was recombined as Hibbertia ottawaensis by Shaw (1968), Ebach and McNamara (2002).
