Rhabdomastix scudderi

Taxonomy
Gonomyia scudderi was named by Cockerell (1921). Its type specimen is USNM 66568, an exoskeleton (stout-bodies fly), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Roan Mountain (Scudder Coll), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Colorado.

It was recombined as Rhabdomastix scudderi by Evenhuis (1994).
