Taxonomy
Ringsteadia pseudoyo was named by Salfeld (1917). Its type specimen is NHM 24089 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wootton Bassett (Marston Ironstone, BMNH), which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in the Ampthill Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
