Lasaguaditas oweni
Taxonomy
Lasaguaditas oweni was named by Edgecombe et al. (1998). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 14777, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LA f, Las Aguaditas North Section, ~5.5 km west and ~9.5 km south of San José da Jáchal, which is in a Costonian deep subtidal shelf marl/claystone in the Las Aguaditas Formation of Argentina.
