Neokimbleia acutus

Taxonomy
Neokimbleia acutus was named by Mitchell (2013) [= 1936 Sabinia sp.; Thiadens, p. 1140-1141, fig. 5(1). = ? 1978 Kimbleia? sp.: Coogan, pl. 17, fig. 2. = v. 1998 Kimbleia albrittoni (Perkins, 1960) pars; Alencátser and Oviedo-García, p. 175-177, fig. 8.2, fig. 9.5-6.]. Its type specimen is IGM.4586, a shell (Transverse section of a right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Neokimbleia.
