Astenorrhinus elongatus

Taxonomy
Distenorrhinus (Astenorrhinus) elongatus was named by Gratshev and Zherikhin (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 2997/4519, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2997), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

It was recombined as Astenorrhinus elongatus by Legalov (2012), Gratshev and Legalov (2014), Legalov (2015).
