Nipponoridium matsuoi
Taxonomy
Fulgoridium matsuoi was named by Fujiyama (1978). Its type specimen is NSM-PA12005, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kaseki-Kabe, Kuwajima, Shiramine-mura, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Kuwajima Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Nipponoridium.
It was recombined as Nipponoridium matsuoi by Szwedo (2008).
