Taxonomy
Cadoceras (Paracadoceras) tonniense was named by Imlay (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 108088, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 21340, Iniskin Peninsula, which is in a Callovian marine siliciclastic in the Chinitna Formation of Alaska.
