Daniavelia morsensis
Taxonomy
Daniavelia morsensis was named by Andersen (1998). Its type specimen is GMUC 14M-4081, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Ejerslev, Mors (Copenhagen collection), which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp diatomite/volcaniclastic in the Fur Formation of Denmark. It is the type species of Daniavelia.
