Protophasma galtieri
Taxonomy
Protophasma galtieri was named by Béthoux and Schneider (2010). Its type specimen is FMNH PE 52174, a hindwing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (FMNH collection), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
