Protanaphothrips minoricornis
Taxonomy
Anaphothrips minoricornis was named by Schliephake (1999). Its type specimen is Hoffeins 322/1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Isle of Usedom, Baltic Amber, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Germany. It is the type species of Protanaphothrips.
It was recombined as Protanaphothrips minoricornis by Schliephake (2001), Schliephake (2005), Mound and Hastenpflug-Vesmanis (2021).
