Mylacris truncatula
Taxonomy
Orthomylacris truncatula was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 38773, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Port Griffith railway cut, near Pittston, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in the Llewellyn Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was recombined as Mylacris truncata by Handlirsch (1906); it was recombined as Mylacris truncatula by Schneider (1983).
