Taxonomy
Priscoflata subvexa was named by Szwedo et al. (2012). Its type specimen is NIGP 135803, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dazhuoma section, Gangni Village, Anduo County, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Niubao Formation of China. It is the type species of Priscoflata.
