Taxonomy
Wutubus annularis was named by Chen et al. (2014). It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Eastern Yangtze Gorge on the western bank of the Yangtze River, which is in an Ediacaran shallow subtidal limestone/chert in the Dengying Formation of China.
