Typhothauma excelsa
Taxonomy
Typhothauma excelsa was named by Zhang et al. (2012). Its type specimen is CNU-MEC-NN2009004, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Village 8, Xinbo district, Weichang County, which is in a Hauterivian lacustrine - large shale in the Dabeigou Formation of China.
