Taxonomy
Gryllotalpa tridactylina was named by Secretan (1975). It is an impression. Its type locality is Monte Bolca (MCSN Verona collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Pesciara Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Pterotriamescaptor tridactylinus by Gorochov (1992), Gorochov (2019).
