Alienochelys selloumi
Taxonomy
Alienochelys selloumi was named by de Lapparent de Broin et al. (2014). Its type specimen is OCP DEK/GE 393, a skull (Complete large skull withits associated lower jaw and the axis lying in the orbit;the left neural arch of atlas), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Trench TS, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial phosphorite in Morocco. It is the type species of Alienochelys.
