Anthraconyx hypsomylus
Taxonomy
Anthraconyx hypsomylus was named by Rose et al. (2013). Its type specimen is GU/RSR/VAS 762, a mandible (right dentary with deciduous P3–4 and M1, unerupted M2 crown in crypt), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India. It is the type species of Anthraconyx.
