Taxonomy
Schizotaldycupes pubescens was named by Ponomarenko (2013). Its type specimen is PIN 3695/10, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Galevo (Kostovaty, PIN collection 3695), which is in a Wordian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
