Taxonomy
Archescytina fusca was named by Becker-Migdisova (1960). Its type specimen is PIN 1813/117, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Letopala River (PIN collection 117), which is in a Roadian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
