Karabasia plana
Taxonomy
Tegulicicada plana was named by Lin (1986). Its type specimen is NIGP 70050, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is KHG 201, Xiwan coal mine, Hezhou City, which is in a Toarcian terrestrial mudstone in the Shiti Formation of China.
It was recombined as Karabasia plana by Wang et al. (2011), Dong et al. (2014).
