Taxonomy
Sojanoscytina minor was named by Martynov (1933). Its type specimen is PIN 2334/119, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Soyana (PIN collection 2334), which is in a Roadian lagoonal sandstone in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
